Warzone Season 3 Update Patch Notes

Warzone Season 3 has a lot of exciting things, which include the Verdansk return of the map, classic weapons and highly requested quality change.

Warzone Season 3 was already in the works to bring up the biggest Call of Duty Updates. Season 2 was a little light on content, but this time, the developers have been working hard on fixing bugs and making quality of life updates, not just. They also made Season 3 even bigger.

Black Ops 6 Zombies have the brand new map, and BattleRoyall can finally play the Verdansk again, There are still a few updates which can be seen in the Warzone Season 3 reloaded.

Warzone Season 3 Start Date

Warzone Season 3 will be coming on April 3, 2025. On the live, it will come with new MP and Zombies content, Battle Pass and many more things.

Maps and Modes

Verdansk

  • Standard battle
  • Battle Royale Classic: This willhaveg over 148 players. Well, It is kind of a tough map to face this many opponents. You need to build up your confidence and likely expect the same rules as BR. 
  • Plunder Quads -100 players
  • Warzone Bootcamp -44 players

Rebirth Island

  • Resurgence -44 players

MW19 Weapons

Call of Duty has confirmed that the Kilo 141 and CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifiles, Kali Sticks and the HDR Sniper ZRifile will be added in Season 3.

The Grau 5.56, which is a popular weapon in the original Warzone, will also make a return. As it has Firing Mod, Raven Software game director Pete Acitipis said that no need to twist a lot about the gun and yes, the Grau is back.

New Attachment

  • MonolithicSuppressor

  It gives a superior suppression sound and has an increased range. As it has moderate weight affects its agility and the ideal attachment for txtending the damage range on big Maps like Verdansk while retaining concealment.

Verdansk Map Changes

  1. Trees are not like the previous map.
  2. The vehicles which are not able to be driven now have been shown as smoldering wreckage.
  3. The big change made was in the swim, now the southern combat zone has been extended out into the Kastovian Sea abd the coastline is now accessible.
  4. Telephone and electric pools have been shortened.
  5. Doors can be barged, and double-hinged hinged can be shot ot blown open.
  6. The lighting of the exterior mao, also dawn the distance range, general visibility and the haze of the map which has been adjusted to enhance clarity and minimize glare.
  7. The lighting of the interior has been adjusted to a favor more immediate spotting of enemy Operators and the glare between exiting and entering of the interiors has been reduced.
  8. The HUD compass text font has been indicatring the name of the location where you are at has been updated to match the current graphical user design.

Console Cross Play

The Season 03, has given console players options for granular by separating the MP ranked play and Call of Duty: Warzone ranked play setting also they have added a Multiplayer.

Each of the settings has Multiplayer Ranked play, Call of Duty: Warzone Ranked play and Multiplayer unranked.

On: this enables Matchmaking with all the gaming platforms.

ON(Console only): This helps to make players on the console.

OFF: Restrict matchmaking to your current gaming platforms only in the selected playlist.

Movement Adjustment

  • Movement Speed
    • Crouch Movement Speed reduced  10%
    • Crouch-to-Stand Speed increased  15%
    • Crouch-to-Stand Speed While ADS increased  39%
    • Prone Movement Speed reduced  5%
    • Sprint Movement Speed reduced  4.9%
  • Jump Cooldown
    • Reduced the cooldown by 40% for improved responsiveness while repeated jumps.
  • Omni-sprint Side & Back Speed Scaling
    • Reduced  8.5% to balance strafe movement.
  • Slide Friction
    • Increased 4% to reduce overly slippery engagements.

Player Count Increased and Shooting in Air

Similar to the original the iteration in Warzone Season 3 increases the player count from 120 to 150. And the player are diving from the starting plane , now can switch between free falling or suing parachute, while players are free falling they can shoot 9mm pistol at enemies in the air.

Quality of Life Changes

Infil & Backup Pistol

  • Players will now infiltrate and spawn with the 9mm PM

Late-Game Redeploy

  • The Late Game redeployment will now spawn players closer to the ground, which reduced the need to hover the positioning during the final circles.

Player Respawn Angles Quality of Life

  • The player will now spawn at 30 degrees downwards instead of directly at the horizon.

Unsuppressed Red Dot Distance

  • The distance which is unsuppressed weapons display 

Looting adjustments

Floating Loot

  • Loot found on the ground will float in the air for better visibility

Ground Loot Refresh

  • Now, Epic Weapons have a random attachment, which will be aligned with the weapon’s nature.
  • Legendary Weapons come with a variety of fixed builds tailored for specific roles.

High Value Loot Zones

  • The Season, HVLZs has remained consistent every match, which allows players to reliably identify Hospital, Militry base, and Superstore as Points of Interest (POIs)

Supply Boxes

Basic

  • The boxes provide cash rewards and average to high-quality weapons

Legendary

  • The Legendary Boxes give updarages for ma ore rewarding experience. The boxes guarantee top-tier weapons.

Reusable

  • These boxes come every 90 seconds, which means an ideal means for players to rehain strength in the mid to late stages of a match.

Duffel Bags, Medical Cabinets, & Weapon Lockers

  • These sources have been re,oved for better service for Verdansk.

Second Chance Mechanic

  • The following items have been removed from loot:
    • Gulag Tokens
    • Reinforcement Flares
    • Redeploy Tokens
  • The methods to return after death are:
    • Gulag Victories
    • Buy Station Buybacks
    • Jail Break Public Events

  • Legendary Supply Boxes – Random drop

Circle Collapse Pacing

The Warzone developers have confirmed that the collapsing circle of acrid gas which suffoacts stragglers and forces Operators to rotate the ever shrinking arenas which performs similarity, and relentlessly like the original map.

The loadout drops in the second and fifth of the six circle collapse and the wide variety of final locations to claim victory at the dead zones.

Gulag loadouts

  • Loadouts within the Gulag have been reworked and improved for variety and balancing.
  • The loadouts will be changing as the game progresses, and the playerswhoh return to the field victorious to do so with the competitive weapon in the hand for a better chance for recovery.

Original Gulag

The Iconic Prison showers gulag location is back in the Season 3 not just this this also brings the three Gulag variants. The only way to win the either to claim the flag in the middle or eliminate the enemy are the one on one battle.

Verdansk features five vehicles, and Raven Software has confirmed that all the available in the same set oflocationsn which were in the original map. There are few add on like no tire puncture or fuel refilli,ng to wo aboutrry.

Victory Screen

  • The iconic Warzone Victory screen returns.

  • Tac Map has a circular cursor, just like the classic CoD: Warzone

  • The Ping Shape has been changed fromae a triangle shape to a lollipop shape.

Score Feed Colors

  • The standard score event will now appear in the classic look
  • Special score events are highlighted in white.

Weapon Inspect to View Attachments Quality of Life

  • Inspecting weapons now will display attachments as well.

   Detailed Death Recap Quality of Life

  • Affected by UAV: These tell if you were revealed on the minimap by a UAV, UAV Tower, or Advanced UAV.
  • Affected by Unsuppressed Weapon: Thismeans thats firing an unsuppressed weapon exposes your position to nearby enemies.

  • Maximum Armor Plates– Default maximum capacity reduced from 6 to 5.The 
  • Armor Satchel capacity now increases plate capacity by an additional 3 plates, down from the previous 6.
  • Armor Drops– the players who are eliminated will drop one plate in BR and Resurgence matches.
  • Gulag Armor Removed in Unranked -Inn the unranked, there is no Armo,r which means it is only health combat gameplay. 
  • Armor Plate Color Improvements – the Armor color is now draker if the player donot have full plates.
