Looking at the past controversial mechanics in Warzone, where it was first introduced in Warzone 2 in the 2022 but the leaks suggest that it will not be an issuer on Verdansk.
Activion has many good plans for the swimming in Modern Warfare 2 back in 2022. In the defence of adding swimming mechanic, the developers said that it was hard to make a Warzone map where you can jump into water and die all the time.
The devlopers did not mentioned about it much. Al Mazrah featured some bodies of weater, but the heat went up when the Ashika Island was launched. The island based resurgence map had many waterways and regular forced players to enguage in water comabt often.
The main problem was when the final circle ended in the water, as players had only pistol option as a weapon to attack. Raven Software had mentioned the issue back in 2023 by addition of the pistol, but yet the water issue was not loved.
Verdansk Remake Won’t Have Water
Activion has conformed that the original Warzone map Verdansk will make a comeback in Season 3, which will be starting from April 3. Leaks has said that the map will be virtually same as the original but will be getting some minor changes.
Some players are worried about the swimming problem, weather it will repeat on the verdansk too. Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope assured dthat verdansk wont be getting water.
Just to remind you, there will be water on the map, but it won’t be creating a The GhostOfHope also reported that the maps are planned throughout the B6 Seasons and beyond, potentially to keep the people interested.
