As the Warzone Season 3 Verdansk remake was closely resembling the original, there is a change that fans have been asking for.
Raven Software, High Moon Studio and Beenox have finally reveled the first look at the Verdansk remake, and this will be coming in Warzone on April 3.
The Map Layout and the POIs are the same as before, but the developers have used different technology to improve the textures and visuals. This means we can get high-resolutions, better lighting and higher definition textures for the building and environment elements like grass.
Warzone players have been expecting very much from the Verdansk map, sich as opening the train station or adding more objects to provide cover between POIs, the developers have listened to feedback and responded according to it.
Verdansk Set to add more cover in POIs
CharlieIntel has reoverd a video which was deleted by the Call of Duty X account, which confirmed that the Verdans map will be getting more cover.
Beenox lead producer Thierry Lauret has explained that they wanted to make sure when the player transits from one POI to another, the player won’t be a sitting duck, which means players have more cover to move around the map.
As back in the original Verdansk, rotating from the Farmlands to Downtown left the players really exposed. As for now there are new cards and busses which have been added to provide better cover. Which makes the rotation safer and lot more strategic, speciaaly during the cross from aqueducts.
As now get closer to the release date, we will understand better the actual visual and game style of the map, until then you can check out why the player said Verdansk is a waste without a staple feature.
