Pokemon TCG is going to get a new update, which will be called Triumphant Light, below are all the details regarding release date, ranked matches and more.

The new Triumphant Light expansion will be releasing on February 28, 2025.

Just make sure that the expansion will be on a smaller side, which makes it similar in size to Mythical Island and also with Space-Time-Smackdown.
To be honest, Arceus is the main focus in this expansion, to be mentioned that this card did not go well with the players when it was leaked, the card was too weak as it was supposed to be the god of the Pokemon World.
Arceus will be added by a selection of EX cards, which also include Leadeon, Garchomp, and Glaceon. Not just this, there are also two new trainer cards, which might come in the future, they are Adaman and Irida from the Legends Arceus making the way to the Pocket TCG.
Ranked Battle
They have also introduced Ranked Battles which gives a chance for players to compete with each other in competitive settings.
There is no further information on how the Ranked Battles will be introduced yet, the tiered system, which is present in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, is the most liked.
There is also a feature that will reward only by participating, these rewards are better as the rank increases. Just by adding a ranked player, get serious regarding building their deck to keep themself in the top.
