Raid Da,y featuring Mega Audi, no was a successful debut. There was a new event coming to Pokemon Go; this time, it would be focused on fighting-type creatures.
Sparring Partners Raid Day: Date & Time
The Pokemon Go Sparring Raid Day will be taking place on April 13, 2025.
In those three hours, fighting-type Pokeon will take over the Niantic game, which will frequently appear in regular Raids with Mega Raids too.
Featured Pokemon
Mega Heracross, the Bug/Fighting type, will take over Mega Raids, while Hariyama and Scraggy will be the regular ones. They will increase the chances of appearing the Shiny ones.
Just a reminder that Mega Evolutiois are temporary forms, which means you have to challenge and defeat Mega Heracross, and you have a chance to catch a regular one. You can also trigger the Pokemon Mega form using the Mega Energy, which to collected by defeating the Mega Raids.
Attack Availability
The event will start and continue with Mega Heracross, Hariyama, and Scragg, which will be able to learn the Charged Move Upper Hand.

- Trainer battle- 70 power the chance to lower opponents’ defence.
- Gym and Raid battles- 50 power
Event bonuses
- The Remote Raid Pass limit will increase to 20onm April 12, 2025.
- Players can get five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs. Players have increased chances of encountering Shiny Heracross, Shiny Hariyama, and Shiny Scraggy from Raid battles.

Hardcore trainers can get additional bonuses and items for event ticket for $US 4.99 from the in-game store.
