PlayStation users frustrated at network outage compensation is PS Plus exclusive.

After the network outage, Sony has offered compensation for the PlayStation users.

The PSN services went down on Friday, February 7, which kind of put players on a shock, which later went back on slowly. Total: after 24 hours of downtime, PlayStation official stated the network is back online for the users.

There was an update on the AskPlayStaion on Twitter where they had mentioned the outage. There was no detailed information, but they also confirmed that PS Plus subscribers would receive compensation in the form of additional 5-day services.

Users of PlayStation are dissatisfied with the service

After hearing about the compensation players sharing there thoughts about it, they were mentioning that just 5 days are not enough. There are a lot of replies that have the same thought.

While some players even stated that a month of access is required, while the few people even stated that a free game would have been good, at least this would have been the best way for compensation.

All these replies were from the players who have subscriptions, while the players who do not have subscriptions even faced problems during the outage. Even they shared there thoughts by saying people who don’t have PS Plus are being ignored, as even they had faced the same issue as the PS Plus players.

Looking at the comets and thoughts, we can say people are less concerned with the compensation and showing more interest in Sony improving the communication practice and explanation on what was the reason for the outage.

To be honest, it is quite true that people need to know the proper reason for why the network outage happened. This could create a problem with Sony’s lack of transparency as a company.

Ignoring the compensation, few people were more interested in the reason for the outage and why there was no communication during that period, and what is Sony going to do if the same thing repeats in the future? Are they still going to keep people in the dark without any proper information?

After looking at all the comments and posts, we are sure that soon Sony will be providing all the details without any drawbacks.
