Overwatch 2 Developers said Stadium Mode takes over a Year to get every hero

Overwatch 2 developers have released a roadmap in the wake of Stadium mode’s success, they also said the content for the base game and as many additions to the new third-person mode as well.

As the stadium is released with only 17 heroes, while Overwatch players are still enjoying it and view it as a refreshing take on the hero shooter formula. The ability to create and change at your will makes this play your hero, as people are hooked.

Looking at the added depth and suite of items, and power makes it difficult to take heroes out of the base game and slot them. It is sure these things are going to take a long time, even to get a full roster as well.

The pace og Overwatch 2 developers is set out. It is going to take almost 2 years to get everyone in, which means that they will never back down.

Overwatch 2 Stadium mode will not be completed for a Year.

Overwatch 2 Stadium mode will not be completed for a Year.

Overwatch 2 developers have also released an entire Stadium roadmap, which lays out the development schedule of the mode, which also provides insight on how long this is going to take to get new content.

Well, we can expect so far that when they will be getting added to the mode:

  1. Season 16: Freja
  2. Season 17: Junkrat, Zenyatta. Sigma
  3. Season 18: Sojourn, Winston, Brigitte

While the Freja arrives in the near future and Season will be getting 3 new characters from there, well, it is fair to expect around 18 heroes a year, to give or take.

It is great for the players who love it that way, because they are getting a consistent flow of content updates and characters to try out, there is also a current pace, which is certainly going to be slow and steady.

Well, there are around 26 heroes missing currently, and we can say new heroes will come out before every one of them gets the mode. Well, it is fair to expect that there will be a take of 9-10 Seasons minimum to get everyone in.

Well, this sounds like a long time to get, but the whole roster is in the mode, and Stadium also have lots of moving parts. To balance the mode, it is surely difficult than Overwatch, as it was made clear that the developers of the hotfix patch on May 1 are focused on adjusting the mode
