Perkz is one of the most accomplished LoL of all time, defining the golden age of G2 and being one of the only players that was the best super teams from South Korea and China. Once upon a time, he had few hopes the West had winning World Championship.
Its been years since a Western team has the really shown up at an international, G2 2019 team changed everything. From the winning MSI and dominating domesrically to the falling the short of winning Wolds 2019, every member of that roster was immprtalized in LoL competitive history.
Perkz retires from LoL pro play after an illustrious career
Though it was not the first team he was a part of, Perkz joining Gamers2 in 2015 was the historic moment in League of Legends history. It was the time before the G2 rebrand and marked the beginning of the best roster a Western LoL team had the built.
Even with the Caps and Perkz both being native mid lakers, putting the two of the team together was a magical combination. As both mid laner and an ADC, perkz shined with G2 peak roster of Wunder, Jankos, Caps and Mikyz.
He also stated that he is retiring from playing competitivelm he is retiring at 26 years old, it sounds crazy but it was esports.
Perkz is sure what he going to do now that he is retired, as he plans to take few months away for the imminent birth of his first child and to make sure he is able to be for both his firstborn and his wife.
With the Mikyx and Caps being to the only two pros from this G2 roster still competing in the LEC, it has only matter of Time until Europe will have to move from it best team ever and invest in new talent.
