Marvel Rivals Chrono Shield Card is a new item that extremely useful to avoid rough losses om Competitive.
To commemorate the game one year Closed Alpha anniversary,developers unveiled many new additions to keep players busy in the current season. Well not only be bringing back the S0 Battle Pass, they will also be introducing new item called Chrono Shield Cards.
Chrono Shield Cards explained.
A Chrono Shield Card is type of the item which can be used in competitive play to prevent players from losing points or even deranking after loss. Simply having the item would automatically trigger the Chrono Shield mechanic in ranked.
The Major difference which is that the regular Chrono Shiled feature, which is already been around for a while, this card bypasses any sort of recharge requirement. Which means it will immediately take effect upon the defeat, even when your current shield charge and long as you have one active.
If there is already an active Chrono Shield,t hen there are cards which won’t be used at all. As seen in the teaser, it is confirmed that the Chrono Shield Cards are not permanent, as they should be automatically be removed at the end of the season
How to get Chrono Shield Cards Marvel Rivals
Chrono Shield Cards can be obtained by participating in the events, they will not be for sale. Which means donot expect them to hit the shop.
For now the only way to obtain them is by participating in the Galacta Gift, Which will begin on May 15, 2025. To unlock all you need to play matchs in Quick Play, Competitive or even Practice vs AI.
Many had worried about the new item which could encourage more people to throw games since they wont be coming demoted no matter what they do.
Well the developers have made it clear in a statement that there is only available to for the low ranked players. The purpose is to allow lower-ranked players to enter ranked mode with the even less pressure through the mechanism.
For now the Chrono Shield works, make sure to also familiarize yourself with the PC settings to improve your FPS and the best crosshair to give you a better experience in competitive shooter.
