Fortnite Player Unhappy Over Change Impacting the Popular Feature

Fortnite players are not happy about the announcement of taking a curated approach on Jam Tracks.

Fortnite was first introduced the Festival Mode back in Chapter 5, Season 1, which was both Rocket Racing and LEGO as the some of the biggest additions at the time.

In the regular Battle Royal mode were players are familiar with, Festival features a different style of gameplay, focussing on the rhythm genre. The developers first added Jam Tracks which essentially functioned as the playable songs to accompany the music-focused mode

Epic Announces New Changes to Jam Tracks Rotation in Fortnite.

During the Festival players can choose the songs in the form of the Jam Tracks just before they got the stage. The songs can also be used as the lobby Music and Moments.

The solid in the Item Shop or the unlock via the Battle Pass, with some  of them getting add for the free featured rotation for the everyone to play.

Epic has finally confirmed that they more curated approach, was the community is already convinced till make it harder to buy songs, introducing FOMO and again, they are reducing the number of tracks displayed in the Shop.

They stated that Variety is the spice of spice. As they are taking a more curated approach to both our Main Stage Featured Rotation and Jam Tracks in the Shop.

they have  expanded the featured Rotation and there are total of 40 regular updated Jam Tracks available to play on the Main Stage.  Where players can explore new genres and artist as we spotlight  new Jam Tracks each week.

Right now shop will be displaying just hand picked list of jams, bangers and bops with the Jam Tracks dropping the every week. 

Looking at this many players shared their thoughts and one said this is a horrible decision, as every jam track should be available in the shop with the search bar. When you have on of jam tracks free on rotation is great, but no one wants a small selection for purchase each day.
