Fortnite is a battle royale game that contains a very large amount of characters and abilities. In the upcoming update, they are going to collaborate with one of the most famous cinematic monsters, Godzilla. On January 13, 2025, Fortnite officially shared a clip of Godzilla walking his way through the map. After some time, there were a few leaks that revealed some exciting information about the Godzilla Mythic, which will be coming with a 33.20 update.
Details on the leak
After looking through all the leaks, here are some details on the ability of the next update:
1. Mythic ability (Atomic Breath)
The atomic breath is a special ability of Godzilla that makes it unique. This attack unleashes a concentrated energy beam. which deals a lot of damage to both structure and players. This ability will have a cooldown period, which is done to balance its power.
2. Mythic Ability (Tail Swipe)
As we know, Godzilla has a long tail; they have added a close-range attack that makes a swiping motion that can knock opponents. This ability helps in clusters with a lot of players at once.
3. Tactical Ability (Godzilla’s Roar)
The epic roar of Godzilla gives us goosebumps every time we hear it. They have added an area of impact when we use the Roar ability. This ability might help in relieving the opponent’s position.
4. Movement ability (Kaiju Slam)
As the name says, this ability allows the player to perform splash damage to the opponent. With enough force, this ability can damage the structure and decrease the player’s health a little bit.
Is this an LTM (limited-time mode)?
So there is a saying that this mode might be LTM, which means this mode gives it a little more value than any other previous modes. Fortnite has a history of having great timing with major collaborations.
In the recent Twitter leaks from HYPEX, which is a reliable Fortnite leaker. They mention that this mode will be released on January 17. The items will include a few gun skins and a whole lot of other stuff. As we see the post, the bundle is around 2,800 VB.
