Renegades is the second main expansion for Destiny 2 in 2025; for the particular content drop, Bungie is trying something a little different. In partnership with Lucasfilm, the looter shooter developer has curated an expansion themed around the Star Wars universe. The Shoehorning in Stormtroopers, Sith Lords, and Jedi and Bungie, who have billed Renegades as homage to the galaxy far.

Star Wars themed Weapons & armour
In terms of gear borrowed from Star Wars, Bungie showcased gameplay of Warlocks and Hunters brandishing Lightsabers like weapons and a sidearm modelled after Han Solo’s iconic Blaster.
The process required for the player to wield their very own Lightsaber, which is known with certainty, although Bungie briefly mentioned that Guardians will tailor their blades to their tastes.
New feature
Not dissimilar to The Edge of Fate, Renegades which will be feature it is own self-contained progression system. Some of which is including the ability to call in aerial bombardments and vehicle support, as shown during the showcase.
