Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered Finally Revealed

Bethesda has now officially announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and the long-awaited remake of the iconic RPG is also available right now.

The remake of Oblivion has become one of the worst-kept secrets in the gaming industry. Bethesda remained silent about re-releasing an upgraded version of the 2006 classic, and dataminers were adamant that the launch was imminent, and leaked the images they had just backed up the claims.

April 22, where Bethsada revealed Oblivion Remastered in a stream, which ended in the news that it is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Well, it costs $50 for the standard edition, which is cheaper the most other AA titles. Looking at it makes sense, it’s a 20-year-old game. There is also a $60 which comes with the additional armour, Weapons and horse armour.

The remake has undergone a complete overhaul and is the Skyrim predecessor in every way. What we notice on first look is the visual upgrade, as the game has been rebuilt and also brought to modern standards.

They have upgraded lighting, textures, character models, fidelity and animations, making the world of Cyodiil more beautiful and immersive than ever before. We can say that everything is made from scratch.

 Well, not everything is brand new; many iconic and quirky elements have been left intact, and there are certain bits of dialogue and minigames. There is also a feature which of all post-launch DLC in one package.

When the original was released, it was the most successful Elder Scrolls to date by shipping around 9.5 million copies, more than double the 4 million that Morrowind sold. The series was already a huge success, but it was Skyrim in 2011 that catapulted it into the mainstream; it sold an incredible 60 million units.

Well, that was everything on the mainline franchise, with only Elder Scrolls Online and just a number of spin-offs, with Elder Scrolls 6 still likely years old, Oblivion Remastered is the perfect way to return to Tamriel in 2025.
