CD Project Red has addressed a few concerns regarding the community for some fans of the studio,o where it was reported that there are invitations being sent for the Witcher 4 Beta Test. The developers have shut down any notion of public testing, saying this is a scam.
Well, we have known about the Witcher 4 for many years now, well even before it was officially released. Well, looking at the perspective of Ciri instead of Geralt, the highly anticipated sequel has fans on the edge, waiting for any scrap of information they can get.
Well, there is no release date set yet, and looking at history, CD Project Red titles always have been exclusively single-player games, where it still hasnott made fans stop falling into traps.
The beta test invitation has allegedly been making the rounds, with many players signing up for what they believed to be an early build of The Witcher 4. Well, it turns out not to be what it looks like; the developers have chimed in a warning to any other fans from engaging with the scam.

There have been reports from community members saying they have been invited to a beta test for The Witcher 4, which was shared by the official Witcher account on X, saying this is a scam.
They have mentioned saying they are taking necessary steps to take this message down and said if any receive any invites to or stumble upon jews of one, they kindly want you to report it.
There is no beta test going on for Witcher 4. There has been no multiplayer component for the upcoming sequel, so Beta would not make a great deal of sense. CD Project Red was quite quick in responding to these scams.
They have mentioned that if there are any Beta tests in the future, they will be first announced on their official websites.
Well, the game is still in its early days, and the developer had no further updates to provide on the Witcher 4 development. The First cinematic trailer was released back in 2024 at om Game Awards. After that, there have been no updates regarding the gameplay.
