Activision has said that Call of Duty: Warzone mobile will no longer get support or the additional updates from the company. Server will stay up for now as it a matter of time until they could get taken down. Call of Duty is widely popular globally,which makes huge portion Activision total profit on the franchise. Compared to the original the port one was not to succes as it was expected.
There are many game of Battle Royales as Garena: Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, and also Fortnite in countries. Activision did try to keep the port version alive to this long.
Warzone Mobile Developer team is Moving on
The team behind the Warzone Mobile revealed they are shutting down the game, they are making it now so that the players do not spend more money on it. Where as cross progression and shared inventory with the core version of Warzone still exists, and also no refund of the content.
They stated that the refunds are not available for the previously purchased in-game content or also unused COD points. But you can continue to enjoy the content if you have the game instalkled before May 19,2025.
Which means if you had bought Warzone mobile exclusive Operator or a Weapon Skin, than you guys are out of the luck. The people who will re install before May 19, the game will be inaccessible forever despite being released on March 21,2024.
The developer explaind that the decision was madew after carful consideration of various factor and also they are proud of the accomplishment in the call of DutyL Warzone bringing to the mobile in a authentic way, well it was unfortunate that the game did not meet the expectation with the mobile first player similar to PC.
Call of Duty Mobile was developed by a team of Tencent owned studio by the name of Timi . it is likely that the people who were working on the version of Warzone which do not move to that project.
