Fortnite which has been blocked on the App Store for the foreseeable future after it is its second attempt to bring the game to Mobile on IOS. in August 2020, Fortnite had removed itself from IOS App Store lafter a stand against the company’s commission on in-game purchases. Five years after court battle, which was ruled in favor of Fortnite, Epic Games has tired to get back into App Store.
On May 9, Fortnite was set Apple for the review. After week later and after 120 hours, they were forced to pull the game and resubmit so they could roll out may 16 with v35.10 update. On May 16, Fortnite revelea that the resubmission had been blocked.
Fortnite won’t be coming to App Store.
In a Post X, the Fortnite account had revealed that the Apple has blocked the Fortnite submission, so people cannot release to the US App Store or to the Epic Game Store for the IOS in the European Union. Fortnite will be off until Apple brings it back.
Fortnite will not be available on App Store or Epic Games Store on Apple mobiles in the US and the European Union for the good chances in Future.
Apple also responded on X, where they explained that they had asked Epic Sweden to resubmit the app update without including the US storefront on the App Store so as the impact Fortnite in the other geographies. They did not take any action to the remove the live version of Fortnite from the alternative distribution marketplaces in the EC.
