Well he did while isolated from the outside world and stuck in a trainning facility. The Mrbeast creates challenges based around being stuck somewhere for an somewhere for an extended period of time, the challenge is surviving and maintaining your sanity. The same was true of many Beast Games challenges.
Looking at Majd, it was about surviving, it was about the thriving. He was given an unlimited access to food, workout equipment, and the personal trainer, but that the caveat that he was stuck in a small circle until he lost 100 pounds.

What was the $250k ballooned to $417,650 as the result of intense fitness challenges he had to complete to earn some extra cash. They have gave him full makeover after the fact, trimming up his beard and the presenting a side by side showing that the months of work paid off.
The video had a happy ending, with Majd losing the weight and seeing the result of the effort. It was almost never released. Coach Tyler Wall, someone who trained with the Majd almost every day at the start of the challenges, died halfway through filmimg. MrBeast offerd to the end of the video entirely and make sure it never saw the light as the day out of respect for the family.
A statement on MrBeast channel saying Coach Wall was a remarkable individual kindness and genuine spirit touched all knew him. The loss has left out heart heavy with grif. They reached out to Coach Wall family to determine whether the video sould be shared. With the grace and wisdom, they have expressed that Tyler would have wanted to message of the hope and positive to continue reaching others, even the absence.
MrBeast team broke the news, and the Majd kept going the despite the sudden and shocking death of the man who was the motivating him to get through the challenge. Later Majd lost the weight and the stepped back into the outside world, he dedicated it to Coach Wall.
He said when leaving the circle onn the Day 178 saying without Coach Wall, he would not have been able to to this. He said that he would be so cool we get to this together and today was that day.
