Splitgate 2 Beta server down: States and Updates

The first Splitgate was a hit, combining the fast-paced arena of Halo with the strategy of Portal, and the sequel, Splitgate 2, which has arrived in Open Beta, but the server issues are getting in the way. The beta is still live right now until the official release in the near future, and you will keep all the progress.

Well, the server issue has meant that players have not been able to find the games and have found themselves up against bots rather than the real players. If you’re desperate to play the new shooter, then here are all the latest updates on Splitgate 2.

Splitgate 2 Beta Server Status

The Splitgate 2 servers went offline when the developers worked to fix the issues of stopping players from loading into the game.

At 8 PM PT on May 22, after 11 hours, the beta went live. The developer said that they are taking the server down temporarily to implement some important bug fixes and stability improvements. Then there are continuing to work around the clock to get the thighs right.

New Updates

At 8 AM PT on May 23, Ian Proulx, the CEO of 1047 Games, released a short video with an update.

He just wants to say that he is sorry on behalf of himself, Ni, the co-founder and the whole team. Well, this was not the spot they thought they would be in 24 hours after the launch of the beta. They thought they would be in great shape by now, but which is not the case.

They have got an underlying problem that brings the whole ship down, and they are working around the clock to get it fixed as quickly as possible. This is extremely frustrating for all of you.

Later, he also said that any skins you have purchased or even earned will be there when the server goes online. Well, it was all in the system.

How to check the Server

To check the Splitgate 2 server, just make sure to check their X Account, where they will give any updates on the server status. You can also join the official Discord server, where the developers give more frequent updates on the server status.

Well, that was everything for now, as any updates come up, we would also make sure to update it here.
