Team Liquid member and professional Rainbow Six Siege player Lucas Dias have been fined by esport organisation after he posted insensitive content on Social Media.
Dias team, participating in 2025 first Major Rainbow Six tournament, R6 RE:LO:AD lost their Japan based CAG OSaka on May 13 and were subsequently knocked out of the tournament.

On May 15, Dias responded he wanted to apologise for the post he made over the last loss. He made a big mistake using the GIF, and he understands that it might have caused discomfort for many people.

Japanese car manufacturer Honda, who has been the sponsor of Team Liquid for six years, has confirmed that following the Dias post they have decided to terminate the sponsorship agreement with the team in question.
