Man Beaten and Robbed of $5k Charizard Pokemon card

A 38-year-old, who had arranged a trade for his Charizard Pokémon card, was beaten and robbed of the $5k collectable.

Well, the holographic CharizardPokémonn card was every kid’s dream back in 199,9 and it is still in trend.

Not as much as the PSA 10 shadowless first edition, which was sold for $420,000, Australia tried its luck at selling the PSA 9 Charizard, but later was met with the nasty instead.

Man assaulted for a Charizard Pokémon card.

Kotaju reported that the seller was beaten by the person who was arranged to meet, who had stolen in the process.

The New South Wales Police Force also tweeted regarding this incident on X where we can see series of Pokemon references as well as grainy, blurry image was of car that was spotted leaving the scene.

They even said that not just Team Rocket is the only one causing trouble. They have released an image of a red 2-23 Ford Mustang with grey stripes, which was seen nearby and is believed as the driver who may have the info which could help them.

They also stated that if anyone got any news regarding this contact, Crime Stoppers is on 1800 333 000.

Well it is still not clear who took the photo of the car, but it is all what police have tp say for now.

This is not the first time that an individual seller has been attacked while trying to trade cards. Back in 2022, there was a group ofPokémonn card thieves in France who assaulted a man at gunpoint and took off with the expense of a collection worth a whopping $15,000.
