A man with username as Lovedeep Dhilon purchased %1500 worth of Pokemon Cards from someone who later got to know it was fake cash.
In the police statement, it was claimed that she realized the money was fake due to having an odd texture and duplicate serial numbers, and the removable holographic security features.
Even though he was bing through fake cash, later, the perpetrator set up another purchase worth $2700. Later the women had set up an operation with the police to apprehend him.
Later the man tried to buy another worth $2700 wirth of Pokemon Cards later after the first transaction and the seller agreed to do the second transaction with police ready to arrest the suspect. Later the man was arrested and was caught with $10,200 counterfeit currency. Police said there are other victims linked to this seller.
