Nvidia Reveals Nintendo Switch 2 Features High-End GPU Performance

Nvidia has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be having the DLSS, Ray Tracing and manu more when it will be launching in June.

Nintendo has finally said more details about the Switch 2 during the long awaited April 2 Direct, which includes the price, release date and screen specs.

They have upgraded the console to a 7.9 LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz at 1080p resolution. When it is docked to a TV it can be upscaled to 4K.

Still all the internal specs have not been revealed but leaving many wonder what will power the next gen hybrid console. The Nvidia has swooped the updates regarding helping the Switch 2 perform the best.

The Switch 2 CPU is still being referred as custom processor which made the Nvidia, the massive GPU company published a blog on the April 3. 

Nvidia says the chip enables the DLSS support, which powers the 1080p to the 4k upscaling available in the dock. 

The GPU inside the Switch 2 has dedicated the RT and Tensor Cores as the company said, which later provided ray tracing for the like like lighting, reflections and shadows in the game Cyberounk 2077.

Now, looking at the chips’ tensor cores on the other hand, which powers the face of the tracing and the background, which is removal. Nintendo showed the revealing the GameChant feature during ther April direct.

Just a reminder that the pre-orders start on April 9, and Nintendo has found this unique way to stop the scalpers from buying all the direct stock. To pre order you have to be member Nintendo Switch Online for the 12 months and with 50 hours of total gameplay on the Switch 1.
