Fortnite has unleashed a fresh arsenal of weapons in Chapter 6 Season 2, next even more additions in future updates. In case of being at the top, you have to master the top meta weapons to dominate the match.
The Lawless season retains all the key Hitscan weapons for the Battle Royal loadout, which includes the superior Holo Twsiter Assualt Rifile, and while the bringing a variety of new gun and special items.

Current Fortnite Meta
The Fortnite meta continues to revolve around mastering Hotscan gun mechanics and the Holo Twister Assault Rifle in the dominance. The return Striker Brust Rifle has always been up in the S tier status, which is standing as the only AR capable of rivalling the Holo Twister from Chapter 6.
The 34.10 update was released back in March 11 and introduced the three brand new weapons: Pump & Dump, ROcket Drill and Outlaw Shotgun, they have made little impact on the meta.
But this season has finally returned an actual Sniper Rifile back with Falcon Eye Sniper, which has many changes and with players having to watch themselves all the time. The Mammoth Pistal returning has finally become the fan favourite in the community due to the gun being able to deal with high damage.
