Rockstar Games co founder Dan Houser recently announced a brand new book which can be tied with the upcoming new game. Looking at many people work mostly on games like Call of Duty where they put all thre efforts in making game better day by day. Looking at Rockstar we can say theory have a key leadership behind to help create a distinct identity.
Surely we can say Dan Houser is one of those key figures as he helped shepherd a number of incredible cinematic single player video games.
All the way from Max Payne 3 to Red Dead Redemption 2, Dan’s satirical stories and dark brooding have led men to make Rockstar one of the best studios in the whole gaming community. Although he is not the only writer in the Rockstar, but he is considered as one of the best forces behind the narratives and has earned the title of gaming auteur.
To remind everyone after the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 Dan left the Rockstar Games in favor creative endeavors. Later he launched a new company called Absurd Ventures and recruited number of close Rockstar talent such as Lazlow and Michaeal Unsworth where they helped creating new projects. Absurd Venture is not a fully game developer one it is also multi media company which develops narrative podcasts, television and even books.
New book by Don Houser, which is based on the upcoming video game
Absurd Ventures recently announced that it will be releasing its first book penned by Dan Houser himself. Which is Titled A Better Paradise- Volume One, which will continue to expand and the story of the Absurd Venture podcast A Better Paradis,e which stars The Walking Dead Andrew Lincoln in a prominent role. This podcast is based on highly advanced video game and it is fully AI featured one.
The novel highlights the origins and secrets of the mysterious video ga,e development as told by the tortured souls wher now run under the AI entity which will play a part as creating and unleashing.
Don’s book will be releasing this year itself, which alsi the time where even Rockstar Games plans to launch the all new Grand Theft Auto 6. Still there is no confirmed date from both the sides, but this wont be bad marketing move where a book competes with a video game.
Don stated that he has written everything as an interactive storyline, this story is a prose, also in other mediums. They will also launch an audio series, which is a hybrid of traditional radio play and an audio book. A Better Paradise is being developed as a television program and also an open world game, although details are still unknown. Don’s Absurd Venture is also developing another universe, which is called Absurdavers, which will be introduced as an animated project.
All we can do is wait for now until all these releases are made, if any update comes, we would be the first ones to introduce it to you guys, so stay tuned until the official announcement it made.
