In a recent leak, Pokemon TCG Pocket is about to get Ranked Battles to the game very soon.
The Pokemon TCG Pocket was released back in the year 2024 and had a massive fan base just in no time.
This virtual trading card has made millions of dollars just in a few months. The game has its own meta where promo cards to collect and also has a long, which Pokemon fans can enjoy, yet there are many features which are being added.
The trading began in January 2025, and it had some limitations and restrictions which kind of created players to go to the other side, later developers responded quickly to solve it.
While all this new feature was heard, there has been a leak which says that ranked matches will be added to the Pokemon TCG Pocket. The report had come from Pyoro, they had also revealed the Space-Time Smackdown, which had featured the Generation 4.
Right now there are no options for any ranked matches in Pokemon TCG Pocket. There is only versus game mode where players can compete with each other. Players can also receive rewards for playing it, but there is a lot of gap in the competitive aspect.
Now looking at the ranked battles, the leak claimed that it would be added in March. Right now Pokemon Day 2025 is coming there will be a lot of news and updates regarding the Pokemon franchise.
What Ranked Battles Can Bring for Player of Pokemon TCG Pocket?
The Pokemon TCG has many casual gamers. Where they open packs, collect new cards and earn rewards through computer battles/ the trading has added more social gameplay, and due to this, the competitive gameplay has gone behind.
The entry of ranked matches will bring change to the game. The players will play more seriously than being casual where they will create strategy, and find more popular builds which ensure their success and help in ranking up.
Just by adding this one feature it, would create an opportunity for more in-game events, rewards and items and more importantly this will give the players a whole good experience.
