Activation has finally decided to use AI content in the games, and Call of Duty players are not surprised at all.

Now when we visit the Black Ops 6 Steam page, we can notice a change. Activation has now disclosed the use of artificial intelligence in the game.
Where they have mentioned that “the team uses AI tools to help develop some in-game assets.”.
Still, there is no clear statement to what extent they will use this AI tool. Which means things from foliage from the background of a campaign mission to weapon skins across multiplayer and Warzone.

The Black Ops 6 came under the fire just a few weeks ago where holiday-themed rewards were asked out for the use of AI in that there were only particular loading screen cosmetics, Zombified Santa and Happen.
Back in the year 2024, WIRED reported that the investigation for Activision Blizzard began in the process of implementing AI tools in the game development pipelines as early as 2023.
By the time from July 2023, the publisher had aligned for the approval of the use of AI tools in creating concept art and marketing materials.
At the end of the same year, they had claimed that the situation in this has evolved, and at that point, Activision was supposed to sell its first AI-generated cosmetics in the Modern Warfare 3 store.
