The Human Torch in Marvel Rivals has made many players worried by his one particular ability.
The Human Torch will be added to the game with The Thing in the midseason update on February 21, 2025. NetEase already had teased a closer look at The Human Torch, which has kind of given fans an idea of what to expect.
Not only will he have the ability to hurl fire but also a Team Up with Storm, which allows her to create a fire tornado, which is unfortunate for the players who are caught in the path.
We can say these powers sound kind of amazing, but there is one ability of human touch that has made players worried and kind of scared just by looking at how it works.
The Human Torch Flame Wall
The Human Torch’s Flame Wall has been shown in the teaser, but special thanks to Necros, we have gotten a closer look at it. As we see in the clip, he has tested his ability in practice range, where he had formed a square firewall just after launching, which appeared to be a fireball in different spots.
This has been looking like anyone has lid ability, which could stop the enemies from getting their point, but the thing is, anyone could get caught inside the flame wall and receive a hefty amount of damage over time.
We can say it is a strong ability but worth nothing; the maps in the game are with different buildings, terrains, and a lot of other things, so using this ability might be tricky. The range of this ability is quite big, which is why a lot of players are kind of worried about how to convenience the hero to be of use.
There was a lot of feedback that players experienced buying if it covers a huge area at one point or if you are trying to push the point, you are actually busted, and the other comment says that this ability was made to ruin friendships.
While some were there who praised this ability, a few players suggested that Jeff the Land Shark, Namor, and Luna Snow, who are the heroes with water and ice abilities, should be able to put the flames out. This is just the speculation for now; let’s find out when the update is out.
