NetEase, who is the developer of Marvel Rivals, has released the latest patch notes for the shooter, making changes to team-up abilities as well as key for nerfs and buffs of characters such as Captain America, Iron Man, Groot, and Mantis. This free-to-play hero shooter game has made it to the top team-based third-person title ever since it was released in December 2024, with over 20 million players having assembled. With the new release of Marvel Rivals Season 1.5 coming later this week, Human Torch and some more are being added to the roster, which means Marvel Rivals is going all in this update.
The people who are fans of Captain America will be pleased to know that these updates in Marvel Rivals have enhanced their survivability, increased vibranium energy, and buffed his combat experience, making the super-summer hero and Vanguard force on the field. Not just Captain, even Iron Ma,n has got buff for his Unibeam, which is a huge plus for Tony Stark but a major drawback for the people who are on the opposite side.
Below is the detailed list of the updated patch for the Marvel Season 1.5, which is coming out on February 21.
Marvel Rivals Update 1.5 Patch Notes
Captain America
The captain will be receiving some enhanced survivability, the Vibranium Saw will feel smoother, and his Ultimate Ability will be attainable due to reduced energy cost.
- An increase in Vibranium Energy Saw speed from 60m/s to 80m/s, along with ricochets ramping from 100m/s to a supercharged 150m/s.The energy cost for Freedom Charge is from 3100 to 2800
- Now, he will be able to shield himself with the help of Living Legend mid-leap.
- Lastly, they have Captain America’s combat experience by separating Sentinel Strike from a melee attack. Now Captain America will be able to use melee combat attacks while his shield will be off during a team-up.
Doctor Strange
The mouse Sorcerer is getting an upgrade in his survivability.
- Reduced his base health from 650 to 600
Groot
The Groot has received a bigger threat range, which will favour everyone.
- Increased Thornlash Wall placement ranges from 15 meters to 18 meters.
Magneto
The Magneto will be getting a little dip in survivability and also with a small surge in attacking ability.
- They have increased Iron Volley projectile damage from 35 to 40
- Next, they have increased the Metallic Curtain energy consumption from 50/s to 60/s and also reduced the Maximum Duration from 2s to 1.5s.
Thor
The Asgardian will be given getting an upgrade on Awakening Rune and unleash the thunder.
- They have removed the shared cooldown time after the duration of Awakening Rune ends.
Venom
The Venom will be getting more menacing than ever, with a high threat upon entering the battle and a small energy appetite for his ability.
- They have adjusted the knockback effect of Frenzied Arrival from vertical to inward.
- Later, they reduced the energy cost of Feast of the Abyss from 2800 to 2500.
Black Widow
Black Widow’s combat effectiveness has been increased; they have increased the threat level to enemies after the Ultimate Ability.
- They have increased the magazine capacity of the Red Room Rifile from 8 to 15.
- They also have increased the slow effect of Electro-Plasma Explosion on enemies from 80% to 55% and also 15% Vulnerability effect to hot enemies for 4 seconds.
Hawkeye
They have increased their survival instincts and close-quarters capabilities, and his Ultimate Ability takes aim with greater peril.
- They have increased base health from 250 to 275.
- Reduced projectile damage of Blast Arrow from 20 to 15, and also spell field damage will be increased from 25 to 32.
- They have reduced the cooldown time for Crescent Slash from 15s to 12s.
- They have increased the bow draw speed duration of Hunter Sight and raised damage multiplayer from 1.2 to 1.35.
Hela
One of the Asgardians, who is the goddess of death, will be getting a longer shadow with an increase in her mid to long-range suppression.
- They have increased the damage Falloff of Nightsword Thorn at 30 meters will be changed from 70% to 80%.
Iron Fist
Iron Fist brings fresh techniques to the martial arts, where they enhanced Yat Jee Chung with both fortitude and finesse.
- They have reduced the damage from Jeet Kune Do 1st, 2nd and 5th strikes from 32 to 30, and the 3rd and 4th strikes will deal 15 damage instead of 16. The last 6th strike has been reduced to 55 to 50. The cool down for Dragon Defence has extended from 1s to 1.5s. The Damage from Yat Jee Chung Kuen is dropping from 19 to 10. They have added a new thing like each strike from Yat Jee Chung Kuen delivers an extra blow, which deals damage equal to 1.7% of the opponent’s health.
- They have increased the health which is granted by HarmonyRecoveryy from 50 to 150. New decay mechanics have been introduced for gaining extra health. After using this ability, the additional health will deplete ata ratee of 25 per second.
- They have increased the maximum bonus health from 150 to 200 during Dragon Defence.
Iron Man
Iron Man has got an upgrade with his Unibeam, which gives him an upper hand for it.
- They have increased damage from 120/s to 140/s
- They have increased Unibeam damage from 180/s to 190/s.
Moon Knight
Moon Knight will be getting improved reaction time for foes and an optimised damage logic.
- They have reduced the Hand of Khonshu talons falling speed
- They have altered the damage trigger logic for the Hand of Khonshu. They have increased the damage of each hit from 75 to 150.
Scarlet Witch
They have boosted their survivability by unleashing her Ultimate Ability
- They have added an additional 100 bonus Health upon activating Reality Erasure. Later, the ability ends, and this Bonus Health will decay at a rate of 50/s.
Spider-Man
They have reduced the Web Cluster cooldown to increase his offence.
- They have reduced the Web Clusterenergizee time fro 3s to 2.5s.
Star-Lord
Star-Lord mobility has got a stellar upgrade.
- They have increased Rocket Propulsion maximum energy from 1200 to 1800.
Storm
They have degraded her tempest from long range and recalibrated her bonuses, offering a boost to,o b, ut most of her allies are in the eye of the storm.
- They have decreased the Falloff of Wind blade at 30 meters from 70% to 60%.
- They have reduced the Storm damage from 16% to! 2%. Lat,er they have increased increase for allies which have been increased from 8% to 10%
- They have reduced Storm damage increase from Enhanced Thunder from 30% to 25%.
Strategist
Adam Warlock
Adam’s damage has been enhanced, with an increase in healing ability after Soul Bond.
- They have increased the damage of Quantum Magic from 55 to 60.
- They have increased the healing amount from 10/s to 15.s/
Cloak & Dagger
They have increased their survivability and healing ability during the activation of the Ultimate Ability.
- They have increased the cost of activating the Eternal Bond from 3400 to 4000. They have also increased the healing amount of each segment will be increased from 220/s to 250/s, and they have reduced the duration from 10s to 8s, and the pause time has been reduced from 1s to 0.67s.
- They have increased the Vulnerability inflicted on enemies from 20% to 28%.
Invisible Women
They have reduced the frequency of her ability

Loki

Atlas Bond
They will be increasing the capability of Luna Snow for her team-up abilities
- They have increased the healing amount of Frozen Chi from 50 to 75 and the slow effect on enemies from 20% to 30%.
Dimensional Shortcut
They have increased the sustained combat capabilities of Black Panther and Psylocke.
- They have reduced the Rewind Time for Psionic Dis from 5s to 3s. They also have reducedthee Rewind TIme for Wakandan Master from 5s to 3s. The conversion ratio of lost health to blue armour is to be increased from 0.5 to 0.8.
Gamma Charge
They have reduced the damage capabilities of Gamma Overdue and Hulk benefits from teaming up
- They have reduced the Unibeam damage from 220/s to 200/s
- They have reduced the Hulk Team Up Anchor health bonus from 150 to 100.
Lunar Force
They have increased the Moon Knight’s survivability after using the team-up ability.
- They have added a new Full Moon Effect, which continuously heral Moon Knight for 25 health per/s.
Symbiote Bond
Spider-Man and Peni Parker get enhanced survivability thanks to Suit. Armor Expulsion enhancement.
- They have reduced the Spider-Man Suit Explusion duration from 4s to 1s. They have also replaced the 50% damage effect with a new invincibility effect.
- They have reduced the Peni Parker Armor Explosion duration from 4s to 2s and also replaced the 50% damage reduction effect with a new invincibility effect.
