A new leak has come regarding an exclusive game, which is for Nintendo Switch 2. Still, there is no official announcement or information about the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 release date, price, or games. But there are rumors about a few games that are going to come on Nintendo Switch 2. The new and latest claim has a scoop on a new Nintendo Switch 2 game that is in the works, which is not going to be released this year or next but somewhere in 2027.
Nash Weedle, who is one of the best Nintendo leakers, came up with new information. In a post on Twitter, the leaker said that there is another Metroid game in development for Nintendo Switch 2, also with the development of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Nintendo fans had to wait for around 18 years between Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond; now, Nintendo is making a quick comeback between these next two titles.
The next two Metroid Prime games are in development simultaneously. There is no mention of how long this development has been going on, but the rumors are these games won’t be out until the year 2027.
In addition to this information, it is claimed that the game Metroid Prime 5 is focused on vertical exploration with altered gravity.
All we say is not to take this information too seriously, as these are only leaks and information based on rumors; sometimes, most of the information comes from translation, meaning context can be at a loss.

Nintendo has not commented regarding the leak, the series, developers, or Retro Studios, although Studio is not directly mentioned in this rumor. We hope there won’t be any changes; if there are any, we will mention them accordingly.
Let’s get back to the game. The first Metroid game was released in the year 1986 via NES, and Metroid Prime did not come until 2002 and Nintendo GameCube. Later, it got a sequel in 2004 on the GameCube called Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. From here, the next two came in the line, like Metroid Prime 3: Corruption in 200,7, and in 2010, Metroid: Other M was released. The first two Metroid games are considered one of the best games of their time.
