The Tanto.22 has been the worst SMG in Black Ops 6 so far, but the new Binary Trigger attachment has made these guns worth using.
The Tanto.22 always had the slowest time to kill speed among other SMGs, like the BO6 SMG, which has 272 milliseconds, and Alosi Kompact 92 leads the class by 220 ms.
While looking at the paper, it might not be so noticeable, but while using it in the gunfight, the player will find the difference, especially during the close-range combat.
While looking at the stats, the Tanto.22 does not help that much as it has a slower rate of fire compared to other SMGs. but thanks to the new Binary Trigger attachment, that issue has been solved and made these SMG a valuable one.

The Binary Trigger can get through the Shadow Hunt Event, and there are also other different challenges depending on which game mode to acquire the attachment.After completion of all the challenges, you can get the binary trigger to the Tanto.22. Later, it is converted from primary firing mode to semi-auto and adds bindary triggers to it, which allows the bullet to fire when the trigger is puled and released.
This new function of multi-bullet fire rate has improved the SMG’s fire rate from 441 rounds per minute to 652 RPM, which is kind of a big upgrade. Yes, we know it does not change much, but due to the attachment, the faster fire rate is enough to give this gun a good chance in a battle.
We can say it is worth noting if you cant use Barrel or Underbarrel attack with the Binary Trigger, which means we do not have access to several attachments which extend the weapons damage range and reduce recoil
At last, the binary trigger is just a fire mode, where you cannot equip rapid fire, which improves the weapon’s slow fire rate. For some players, this attachment can be a dealbreaker, while others might just use it for fun.
At last, all we can say is that players have to give a shot for these weapons, which could be handy for some players, and for the players who are not interested, there are still many SMGs that have a better rate of fire and stability.
