The PlayStation State of Play 2025 is here, and the show announced many things, including new trailers.
As we know, every year PlayStation State of Play gives us many exciting news and updates, while in 2025 they gave us many in-depth looks at many of the exciting upcoming PS5 games that are about to come.
Below are some of the announcements and updates that were shown in the PlayStation State of Play 2025.
The list of games is:
Monster Hunter Wilds
A whole new trailer was released for the Monster Hunters Wilds at the Sony State of Play event, which provided a larger look at the game and what to expect from the title.
During that launch, developers also confirmed that a few extra pieces of content would be provided for free after the launch.
Shinibo: Art of Vengeance
Another upcoming fighting title was released, Shinibo: Art of Vengence, which has a unique art style, colorful graphics, and more. This game is looking to be an exciting new fighting title game to dive into.
This game will be released in later August 29, 2025, on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Sonic Racing; CrossWorlds
A new race was introduced, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. This game got a big show during the announcement; a lot of information was given about the game, like gameplay footage, some tracks, and many more.
Digimon Story Time Stranger
A brand new game was revealed, Digimon Story Time Stranger; this is an open game for players to walk through. The classic franchise is about to make a big announcement in return to the gaming world, and they will be coming on PlayStation 5.
Lost Soul Aside
The next one announced was a brand new action-adventure RPG game known as Lost Soul Aside, where players can take control of a protagonist, Kaser, and go on an epic journey to save humanity. This game has beautiful graphics and is now available to pre-order.
WWE 2K25
One of the famous games, WWE 2K25, is finally here. This WWE franchise has come a long way, and each year they come up with a new addition in the series of 2K. The Island trailer was where players will have more agency to move in the game and play through all the wrestling experience as an open-world title game.
BorderLands 4
Borderlands has been on the favorite list for gamers since its first launch; now the new game has arrived and players are very eager to play.
They showed some new clips of the game, and Sony confirmed that this game will be releasing on September 23, 2025.
Directive 6020
The developers of Until Dwan and other story-driven titles have now has come with the new one, which based on the Journey to the space
In these games, few big actors are featured, including Marvel and James Bond actor Lashana Lynch.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic
This is a horror game, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic. This game is ready to give a good horror experience.
Later in the release, State of Play also revealed its launch date, which is on June 13, 2025.
Darwin’s Paradox
This game is based on the ocean view; here in the game we dive deep into the ocean, where the player plays as an octopus who goes on an adventure.
Still, the release date is not mentioned, but it is confirmed that this game will be releasing in 2025.
Warriors: Abyss
In the event the trailer was shown, this game will be available on both Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5. There are no further details of the launch, but we can expect it to release this year itself.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
In the event the first ever trailer of Onimusha: Way of the Sword was released, looking at the trailer, we can say the cinematic footage was quite good and gave a good hint to players what they can expect from the game. In the trailer, they just gave a few glimps of sword combat.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
The Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is here, while the remake of 2004 Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, and the fifth entry in the franchise, is finally getting a remake.
In the trailer, we could see the upgraded visuals and graphics; later, they even conformed the release date, which is on August 28, 2025.
Hell is Us
A whole new game was also revealed; they showed the trailer of the game; the visuals and graphics are amazing. Later in the trailer, they also revealed the release date, which is going to be on September 4, 2025.
Lies of P Overture DLC
The new game Lies of P OverTure DLC. is the expansion of the last 2023 title.
Days Gone Remastered
The famous 2019 open-world zombie shooter game has some new loook and visuals. This game is finally going to come back with better visuals.
This game will be available on Playstation 5 only and will be released on April 25, 2025.
Stellar Blad DLC
DLC released another title on Stae of Play, Stellar Bladex Goddess of Victory.
These games will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PC around June 2025.
Tides of Annihilation
A new game, Tides of Annihilation, is a realistic-looking action-packed game with some good content and is primarily based on modern London with Arthurian Legend.
Metal Eden Reveal
The one and only sci-fi fame was releveled in Metal Eden, which is a FPS shooter game where players take control over a humanoid avatar of a sentient spaceship.
These games will be available around May 6, 2025, on PlayStation 5.
Saros reveal Tariler
At the end of State of Play, Sony revealed a new title game, The Saros, which is set to release in the year 2026.
They have provided the early looks; they have done this to make the audience a bit more dramatic; a small trailer was provided where they showed a few glims of the game.
